In 2006, GAINS began publishing the GAINS Quarterly: Connections & Reflections, which has since become an annual ejournal – the Journal for Interpersonal Neurobiology Studies: Theory, Research, and Practice. Since its inception, this publication has been a unique creation: part scientific journal; part in-depth discussion of IPNB’s applications to various fields; and part magazine, with cartoons, reflections, poetry, and imagery. True to the vision of Founding-Editor Bonnie Badenoch, it has provided a forum for GAINS members and our Advisory Board to investigate, extend, and apply the principles of interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB) across disciplines and in our personal and professional lives. Ultimately, our contributors seek to promote health and wellbeing, by helping us all nurture meaningful and compassionate connections within ourselves, our relationships, our communities, and our world. In so doing, they help us all learn more about cultivating integrated brains, coherent minds, and empathic relationships.

From 2006 to 2011, Bonnie Badenoch, Carol Landsberg, and Debra Pearce-McCall edited GAINS-Quarterly contributions, embodying a signature IPNB-informed style in the editing process. Using this same style, Bonnie Badenoch and Debra Pearce-McCall are the Co-Editors of our annual ejournal, the Journal for Interpersonal Neurobiology Studies: Theory, Research, and Practice.

We invite you to consider how you might apply IPNB principles and concepts in your own personal and professional life. In this process of discovery, GAINS can be a supportive community where you can explore and expand your understanding of IPNB, offering your vision to a wider audience. The Journal for Interpersonal Neurobiology Studies is a wonderful forum for sharing our IPNB-informed work, and we eagerly welcome your participation.
